Steward’s call
An immortal beginning of faithful sorrow has enchanted another soul.
Incorruptible were my brethren, but the steward of shadows’ does in a moment trickle doubt with in our core. With a steady hand and a spark in his eyes:
Prevented many of revealing ignorant ways, rapture thoughts of love were replaced with fatting of lust.
Descended by hands covered in honey, a sweet taste it was; but a foul ending it became. Forsaking the ways of our forefathers and yoking our selves with scorn seemed a small pence to pay; for we knew not of our enemy’s foul game but only of the spoils he bore.
Pledge aloud of our sovereign devotion unto our proprietor; embodied by his eluded refinement deprived our knowledge of truth.
Powerless we had become; idly we believed in all that spue from his mouth.
Delicately chained into bondage; mislead into forsaken lands and pits of horror; caused mine eyes to witness my error.
Angered he became, enlighten I had begun. Captivated by his radiance no more, seduced by his embrace no longer stirred my loyalties save a revolutionary notion.
Longing to ignite my lost love arose; blurred visions of past ventures flickered;
Aye, bold, as well as charitable, I once was; valiant, I once stood; but alas, misguided by prideful ways; shameful it is. Aye; covered in grime and guilt I lifted up mine eyes as a cry unto my lost love I began and with a hand out stretched I took hold of my Lord.
Repented, I professed: repress not your anger my Lord, for rightly I am to blame. I forsake your ways and dutifully accept your judgment.
Tears fell from mine eyes and etched a path upon my face, head bowed and knees bent; wait in desperate silence I did.
Fear not my child, genuine you are; wrath you shall not know from me, but aye, forgiveness I give to thee. Joyous, I am; for you have seen the error of your ways. Come my child for many have need of your eyes; my people are burden with anger and hate, Chained by jeweled lies and ignorant ways.
Amongst them are companions of yours, as I see your loved ones as well, come and join me stretch out your hand. Cry unto them; profess my love, for my burden is light and my yoke is lenient
Abundance of life flows from my vine; a steward of mine you shall be. Deceive none; obey one; bring to me the brokenhearted. Lead unto me the misguided. Carry unto me the tired and tried. The defenseless shall find refuge in me; the unprotected are shield.
Judge no man; chain no woman, condemn no child; direct to my path and freed they shall be. Journey for a time; rest for eternally.
Alas my friend, the price was paid; the lamb was slain. The life returned; the heavens united. A man he was, a king he is; come my friend, for verily I proclaim a steward’s call unto you: Christ shall reign In light of love, liberty of life and abundance of mercy.
